Set-Up & Your Responsibility When Hiring The Hot Tub
We will arrive at the agreed date and time to 24hrs prior to the hire date to set up the hot tub and Gazebo if applicable and give a demonstration of the controls and use of chemicals. You must be on site when we arrive and at collection.
The hirer will hereby give Black Mountain Hot Tubs Hire the right to enter the premises or land where they believe the hot tub to be on the agreed date and time of collection.
You must provide us with safe access and clear instructions to the property.
You must provide working electricity & water supply close to the setup area and hose with drainage nearby.
Damages
Black Mountains Hot Tubs Hire will not be held responsible for any damages to your property through the entire hire period, set up, and collection period. This includes weight or water damage to any or all surfaces, fixings & fittings, garden or grass areas. It is your responsibility to make sure that the space provided is fit for purpose. Please be aware our base protectors will starve the grass of oxygen due to the blocking of sunlight therefore yellowing of grass can occur depending on hire length.
Accidents & Injury
Balck Mountains Hot Tubs Hire will not be liable for any accidents, injuries, or death relating to the use of our hot tubs including the area surrounding it such as incidents caused by wet surfaces and slip hazards.
Health & Safety
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
Do not use any electrical items within five feet of the hot tub including mobile phones.
Please enter the spa with safety in mind at all times, checking the temperature first.
Do not jump in or out of the hot tub.
Never enter the hot tub with sharp objects, use glass or any other breakable items within or near the hot tub. Black Mountain Hot Tubs Hire prohibits the use of glass items within the hot tub and will not take responsibility for injury caused by glass breakages within or around the hot tub area.
Always wear the correct attire when entering the hot tub such as a bathing costume or any swimwear. Never wear shoes or heels as this could cause injury and damage to the hot tub.
Do not allow anyone to submerge their head below water level, there is a risk of hair entrapment and drowning. Long hair should be securely tied up.
The hirer takes full responsibility that the users are not impaired by alcohol or drugs, clean when using the hot tub, and are in sound medical health.
The hirer takes responsibility for making sure the hot tub cover is secured back on the tub when not in use. This will not only stop the loss of heat but will keep the hot tub secure from accidents when not in use.
At more than 37.5c, you should not spend more than 15minites in the hot tub.
Pregnant women and persons with heart disease, circulatory problems, diabetes or low or high blood pressure should consult a doctor before using the hot tub.
General Use, Upkeep & Chemicals
Chemicals will need to be added. We will go through the procedure with you verbally upon delivery and will leave you with information regarding application, handling, and storage. It is the hirer's responsibility to keep the chemicals at the correct levels as indicated in the information provided. Failure to do so can cause illness and Black Mountains Hot Tubs Hire will take no liability in these instances.

Never switch the power off. If the power gets accidentally turned off or a power failure occurs, turn it back on in the same way which you were shown in your setup demonstration.
All persons entering the hot tub must be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, and all moisturizer, makeup, creams must be removed before use. This is to ensure the water stays as clean as humanly possible for both hygiene and unnecessary wear on the pump.
Persons wearing fake tan products cannot use the hot tub as it will cause lasting discoloration and may result in a damages charge.
Do not use bubble baths or soaps, washing up liquid or any other chemicals within the hot tub. This also means products such as silly string, glitter, body paints etc. These chemicals or foreign objects will damage the pump. If this occurs it will be classed as gross misuse and result in the hirer covering the repair or replacement costs.
The hot tub will maintain temperature by itself; although during periods of heavy use or when the cover is removed for an extended period there will be a fall in temperature. Staying out of the hot tub and replacing the cover will allow the water temperature to rise to the desired level.
Always leave the hot tub plugged in and switched on in order for the filtration/heating system to work while using the hot tub.
Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Unclean Hot Tub
It is the hirer's responsibility to return the spa (and Gazebo if hired) in the same condition in which it was received. The hirer will be responsible for loss, stolen or damaged, minor or beyond economical repair.
Black Mountains Hot Tubs Hire are available for call out to rectify any faults whilst under hire but if the fault is found to be down to misuse there will be a £50 call out charge.
Collection
Single-day hire collection will be 24hrs after the hire day, collection for weekend hire will be arranged for Sunday afternoon.
The hot tub must be filled and running at the time of collection for us to see it is in a fully working state. We will then empty the hot tub and will always try to pump the water from the tub into the main drain to avoid flooding to gardens however this cannot be guaranteed depending on location.
If the hirer is not present at the time of collection there will be a £50 charge.
